The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technology-related projects within scope, budget, and schedule. This role ensures alignment between business objectives and technical solutions, coordinating across teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful project execution.
  • Ensure all project documentation, reports, and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Oversee system development life cycle (SDLC) processes — including requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Manage vendor relationships and performance when applicable.
  • Ensure IT solutions adhere to organizational policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • (Preferred) Master's degree in Project Management, IT Management, or Business Administration.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management or related role.
  • Proven experience managing software implementation, infrastructure upgrades, or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).

Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PRINCE2
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • ITIL Foundation

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and software development life cycle.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership and team coordination capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Project completion within approved scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction score.
  • Reduction in project risks and issues.
  • Quality of deliverables (measured through defect rates, uptime, etc.).

Pay: ₹14, ₹69,032.65 per month
