Job Description – Developer (4–6 Years)

About the Company

Random Techie is an HR consulting firm supporting global organizations with their recruitment process. We are hiring for our Canada-based client, Nextomate ), a digital innovation company delivering cutting-edge technology solutions worldwide. Selected candidates will be directly on Nextomate's payroll.

Position: Developer

Experience: 4–6 years

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time (on Nextomate payroll)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications using
  • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect, and interactive user interfaces.
  • Work closely with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
  • Ensure performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Implement reusable components, hooks, and state management solutions.
  • Collaborate with designers, QA, and product owners to deliver robust features.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Stay updated with the latest React ecosystem trends and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 4–6 years of strong front-end development experience with at least 4+ years in
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks (SASS, Tailwind, Styled Components).
  • Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Recoil, Zustand).
  • Strong understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and functional programming.
  • Hands-on experience in integrating REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Knowledge of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite).
  • Proficiency in version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with or other SSR frameworks.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Exposure to micro-frontend architecture.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
