About Us:

AutoBSE is a next-generation real-time vehicle auctioning platform built for seamless bidding, transparent pricing, and high-speed vehicle data processing. Our platform supports live auction events with 50–300+ vehicles per event, real-time bid updates through GraphQL/websockets, and scalable integrations with dealer networks and payment systems.

We are now expanding our engineering team and looking for a Junior MERN Stack Developer who is passionate about building scalable products, writing clean code, and learning system architecture from industry experts.

Role Overview

As a MERN Stack Developer, you will work closely with backend architects, and product teams to build and maintain the core modules of the AutoBSE platform.

You will develop REST/GraphQL APIs, implement real-time features, improve dashboard UI/UX, and integrate 3rd-party services involved in auctions, payments, notifications, and analytics.

This role is perfect for a self-taught MERN developer, coding bootcamp graduate, or early-career engineer who wants exposure to high-traffic real-time systems.

Key Responsibilities

Backend + Express / NestJS)

  • Build and maintain scalable REST & GraphQL APIs for vehicle listing, bidding, and user modules.
  • Implement server-side logic including validation, authentication, authorization (JWT/OAuth).
  • Work with MongoDB schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, transactions.
  • Integrate Redis for caching, queues, and real-time subscription handling.
  • Write clean, modular code using MVC / Repository patterns.

Frontend )

  • Develop intuitive dashboards for dealers, bidders, and admin users.
  • Implement reusable components using React, Tailwind/Bootstrap, Redux ToolKit/Zustand.
  • Build responsive UI for auction events, vehicle previews, and bid flow.

Real-Time Systems

  • Work with Socket.IO / WebSockets for live bidding updates.
  • Handle event-driven architecture with queues.

Cloud & DevOps

  • Deploy applications on AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Nginx, etc.).
  • Participate in CI/CD and version control (Git, GitHub).

Quality & Collaboration

  • Write clean, testable code and collaborate through PR reviews.
  • Work in Agile sprints with senior engineers.
  • Document modules, APIs, and workflows.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Good understanding of MongoDB, , ,
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and authentication (JWT).
  • Frontend state management: Redux Toolkit / Zustand / Context API.
  • Knowledge of Git, GitHub, Postman.
  • Basic understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, event loop.
  • Understanding of fundamentals of DSA, OOP, and clean coding.

Good To Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience with real-time tech: Socket.IO / WebSockets / WebRTC.
  • Knowledge of Redis (caching, pub/sub).
  • Payment gateways (Razorpay).
  • Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, Vercel, Cloudinary).
  • Repository pattern, SOLID principles.
  • Experience building dashboards, admin panels, or marketplace apps.
