We are hiring for the position of
AGM – Operations (Shipyard)
at
Ratnagiri
location.

Job Description

• Oversee day-to-day shipbuilding and ship repair operations. Manage dry dock and berth schedules to optimize yard capacity and resource use. Ensure proper coordination between departments (production, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, etc.).Participate in planning and execution of new build and repair projects.
• Review project timelines, resource plans, and deliverables. Supervise a team of engineers, supervisors, foremen, and skilled workforce. Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Work with QA/QC teams to maintain quality assurance in ship construction and repair. Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Control operational costs and initiate cost-saving measures. Liaise with clients, surveyors, vendors, and classification societies.
• Provide regular progress updates to management and clients.

Skills

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture / Mechanical Engineering or related field.

PG/Diploma in Shipbuilding, Project Management, or Business Management (preferred).

Experience:

12–18 years of relevant experience in a shipyard.

Minimum 5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role.

Proven track record in managing both shipbuilding and ship repair operations.
