Job Title: Assistant Manager - - General Ledger (US GAAP)Responsibilities:Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes efficiently. Assist in preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders and auditors. Monitor general ledger accounts closely and correct any errors identified.

Ensure adherence to internal controls (SOX) and actively work on improving process efficiency. Conduct thorough account reconciliations and promptly address any discrepancies. Stay current on US GAAP standards to ensure compliance in financial reporting.

Accurately reconcile intercompany accounts. Manage the opening and closing of ledgers during financial closing periods. Perform currency revaluations as required.

Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and implications. Prepare journal entries on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with accounting policies. Qualifications:Chartered Accountant/ CA Inter, Finance~4-7 years of accounting experience with progressive responsibilities.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong understanding and application of US GAAP in financial reporting. Proven ability to perform complex reconciliations and conduct detailed financial analysis.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with various stakeholders. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple assignments concurrently.

Experience with auditing processes and familiarity with internal control frameworks. Demonstrated success in improving process efficiencies and solving intricate problems. Experience on USGAAP financials / Cash flow preparation will be an added advantage.
