Job Purpose:

Karmayogi Bharat invites applications for the position of Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the iGOT Karmayogi platform the Government of Indias flagship digital learning and capacity-building initiative for public servants.

The CPO will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring that iGOT delivers a high-impact, scalable, and intelligent learning experience powered by cutting-edge digital technologies including AI and Machine Learning, advancing the mission of building a future-ready civil service under Mission Karmayogi.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a visionary product strategy and roadmap aligned with Mission Karmayogi and national digital capacity-building priorities.
  • Drive product innovation through AI, ML, and advanced data analytics to enable adaptive and personalized learning experiences.
  • Apply design thinking principles to deliver intuitive, inclusive, and engaging user experiences for diverse public sector learners.
  • Collaborate with technology, content, data, and operations teams to ensure cohesive product delivery and platform scalability.
  • Establish data pipelines and performance dashboards to derive real-time insights on learner engagement and platform performance.
  • Ensure compliance with government digital standards, data security, privacy, and accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.
  • Develop ethical frameworks for responsible and transparent AI governance.
  • Build and lead a multidisciplinary product team of managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers, fostering innovation and excellence.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in senior product leadership roles managing large-scale digital platforms.
  • Proven experience in AI/ML-driven product development and agile product management.
  • Strong background in user experience design, data-driven decision-making, and product lifecycle management.
  • Exposure to government, public sector, or large-scale EdTech/FinTech platforms preferred.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master's degree in Management, Product Design, or Data Science preferred.

  • Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification

  • Design Thinking / Human-Centered Design certification
  • AI/ML, Data Analytics, or Digital Product Strategy certifications (Coursera, edX, AIPMM, etc.)
