The MySQL Database Admin will be responsible for managing day to day operations

Strong proficiency in MySQL database management

Install, monitor and manage MySQL database.Should have Knowledge on MYSQL Replication Master & HA setup.MySQL migrations and upgrades

Good knowledge of writing MYSQL stored procedure and PLSQL coding.Understanding MYSQL backup & recovery.Good knowledge of Performance tuning of MySQL database, provide workarounds and solutions

Communication skills should be able to communicate and lead the MySQL database activities with application team.Manage all the internal and external audits

Business Analysis:Understand existing client environment completely

Analyze current business requirements Identify new areas on an ongoing basis and suggest accordingly

Database design concepts

Operational:Troubleshoot problems associated with database Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to the database

Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues

Dealing with queries by following SOPs for fault resolution

Maintains IT records and tracking hardware and software inventory for areas of responsibility

Develop sound understanding of IT operations and IT systems as well as business related processes and procedures

Maintain adequate knowledge of all network and firewall devices used to provide a high level of support

Maintains and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures
