About the position

We're seeking a smart, confident, and highly motivated professional to join our SMART Procurement team. The Assistant Manager of Purchasing will be responsible for driving cost-effective purchasing strategies, vendor development, and smooth material availability for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process for technicaland non-technical materials.
  • Develop, evaluate, and manage vendor relationships toensure quality, cost, and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial terms, contracts, and long-term agreements.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project, engineering, and finance teams to align purchase requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain and update purchase documentation, approvals, and vendor databases.
  • Track purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensuretimely project execution.

Required Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or
  • related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Procurement / SCM / Vendor Development, Sheet metal industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Procurement Software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹45,000.00 per month
