The STB Hardware Technician is responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing PCBA-level issues, and replacing defective components. The role includes conducting functional and burn-in tests, verifying signal flow, and using essential test equipment such as multimeters, CROs, and power supplies. The technician will maintain accurate repair and defect records while ensuring adherence to TAT, quality standards, ESD practices, and overall process compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fault diagnosis on STB hardware and PCBA.
- Repair and replace defective components (SMD/through-hole).
- Conduct functional testing, burn-in testing, and verification of signal flow.
- Use testing tools such as multimeter, CRO, and power supply.
- Maintain repair logs, defect tracking, and test reports.
- Follow ESD, 5S/6S, and safety guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to TAT, quality standards, and process compliance.
Required Skills:
- Basic electronics knowledge (active/passive components, SMPS, RF basics).
- Ability to read schematics, board view, and block diagrams.
- Hands-on experience in soldering/desoldering and rework.
- Knowledge of STB architecture and troubleshooting.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma/ITI in Electronics/Electrical.
- 0–3 years of experience in STB repair/testing preferred.

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
