We are looking for a skilled SAP QM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in SAP Quality Management (QM) module and will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting QM processes in line with business requirements. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and compliance across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of SAP QM module based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and understand quality management requirements.
  • Map business processes to SAP QM functionalities including Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Control, and Quality Certificates.
  • Configure QM components such as Inspection Plans, Quality Notifications, Quality Certificates, and Lot & Serial Number Management.
  • Support integration with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and provide post-implementation support.
  • Develop functional specifications and work with ABAP developers for custom developments/enhancements.
  • Perform system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, analyze root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, business processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated on SAP QM best practices and recommend continuous process improvements.
  • Support data migration and validation activities related to quality management.
  • Assist in change management and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7 to 12 years of experience as a SAP QM Functional Consultant with full lifecycle implementation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Quality Management module including quality inspections, quality notifications, inspection lots, and quality certificates.
  • Experience in SAP QM integration with MM, PP, SD, and PM modules.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration and customizing in SAP QM.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into SAP QM solutions.
  • Experience in preparing functional specifications and collaborating with technical teams.
  • Good understanding of quality standards, ISO compliance, and manufacturing quality processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and business teams.
  • Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP QM certification is a plus.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA QM module.
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or automotive is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP Quality Management reporting and analytics tools.
