Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database technologies. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust backend functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services and APIs.
  • Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Implement security and data protection best practices.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, QA, and production environments.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 36 years of experience in backend development with Java.
  • Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
