Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer specializing in Industrial PEB Steel Structures. This role involves designing and analyzing structural components for pre-engineered buildings used in industrial, commercial, and large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing steel structures, understanding PEB systems, and working in a fast-paced environment to meet project timelines and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Design & Analysis:
• Design and analyze PEB steel structures for industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, and other large-scale projects.
• Prepare structural designs for primary steel elements, including columns, beams, trusses, and secondary components such as purlins and girts.
• Perform load analysis and ensure compliance with international design codes and standards (e.g., IS, AISC, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Evaluate the structural integrity of designs and optimize them for efficiency, cost, and constructability.
• Engineering Calculations & Software:
• Perform detailed structural calculations using software like STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer, SAP2000, and other relevant tools.
• Use specialized PEB design software to ensure accurate and optimized designs.
• Prepare and review design reports, material takeoffs, and other technical documents.
• Design Codes & Standards:
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, codes, and technologies that affect steel structure design.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the integration of design and constructability.
• Coordinate with fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and optimize steel fabrication processes.
• Review and approve shop drawings, structural details, and other project-related documentation.
• Project Management & Support:
• Participate in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of structural design milestones.
• Support construction teams during the installation phase to resolve any design-related issues or queries.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for material procurement and construction.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct design checks, peer reviews, and audits to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all structural designs.
• Ensure the adherence to company-specific and client-specific requirements for quality control and assurance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural design of industrial steel structures, with a focus on PEB systems.
• Experience in designing industrial PEB buildings, including structural steel, foundations, and associated systems.
• Familiarity with PEB software (e.g., ProtaStructure, Tekla, FrameWorks, etc.).
• Strong understanding of steel design codes (IS 800, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Skills:
• Proficiency in structural design software (STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD for drafting and detailing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
