Job Description: SAP FICO Consultant – Product Costing, COPA & FI Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in Product Costing, COPA, and core FI processes. This role requires strong functional and technical knowledge, including experience with bank integration, enhancements, custom developments, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Configure and support SAP CO-Product Costing: standard costing, actual costing, cost component split, and material ledger.

· Implement and optimize COPA (Account-Based and Costing-Based) for profitability analysis and reporting.

· Manage core FI modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.

· Handle bank integration, including electronic bank statements (EBS/EBRS), file scheduling, and background job monitoring.

· Perform foreign currency valuation/revaluation and ensure compliance with financial standards.

· Work with IDocs for financial transaction integration and troubleshooting.

· Collaborate with ABAP developers to design and implement custom objects, user exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.

· Prepare and maintain Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for custom developments and interfaces.

· Provide training and post-go-live support to end users and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

· 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, with strong focus on Product Costing, COPA, and core FI modules.

· Strong knowledge of Fixed Assets lifecycle: acquisition, depreciation, transfer, and retirement.

· Experience with bank integration, EBS/EBRS, file scheduling, and background jobs.

· Proficiency in foreign currency revaluation and multi-currency reporting.

· Hands-on experience with IDocs, enhancements, and custom developments.

· Strong documentation skills, especially in writing functional specifications.

· Integration experience with MM, PP, and SD modules.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Margin Analysis.

· SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance.

· Exposure to Fiori apps or Central Finance is a plus.
