Job Title:*_ Boiler Field Operator / Fireman – CPP (Gas Fired Boiler)*_

Location: Chowka,Chandil

Department: Captive Power Plant (CPP)

Reporting To: Shift In-Charge

Job Description:

  • Operate and monitor gas-fired boilers and related auxiliaries in the field.
  • Maintain optimal pressure, temperature, and other operating parameters as per standard norms.
  • Ensure safe startup, normal running, and shutdown of boiler systems.
  • Coordinate with control room operators for smooth plant operation.
  • Perform regular inspection and housekeeping of boiler and surrounding areas.
  • Report any abnormalities or equipment issues to the shift in-charge immediately.
  • Maintain logbooks and operation records accurately.
  • Assist maintenance team during breakdowns and scheduled shutdowns.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environment, and operational standards.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in boiler operation (preferably in gas-fired or oil-fired boilers).
  • Certification: Second Class Boiler Operator

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in field operation of gas-fired boilers.
  • Basic understanding of boiler safety, controls, and instrumentation.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong focus on safety and reliability.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹16, ₹25,000.00 per month
