Revenue Manager

The Revenue Manager at Sayaji Raipur is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through strategic pricing, inventory control, demand forecasting, and distribution channel management. The role focuses on optimizing room revenue, RevPAR, ADR, and overall profitability while aligning with Sayaji brand standards and market positioning.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Strategy & Pricing
- Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue and total hotel revenue
- Analyze market demand, competitor pricing, and booking patterns to set optimal room rates
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly pricing strategies across all room categories
- Lead yield management decisions for transient, group, and corporate segments
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Prepare accurate short-term and long-term revenue forecasts
- Support annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes
- Monitor pace reports and adjust strategies to meet or exceed budgeted targets
Distribution & Channel Management
- Manage online distribution channels (OTAs, brand website, GDS) to ensure rate parity and optimal visibility
- Monitor channel performance and cost of acquisition
- Coordinate with e-commerce and digital marketing teams for promotions and campaigns
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct regular competitive set analysis (rate shopping, positioning, demand trends)
- Track market trends, city-wide events, seasonality, and demand drivers in Raipur
- Identify new revenue opportunities and emerging market segments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Front Office, Reservations, and Finance teams
- Support group pricing decisions and contract negotiations
- Train operational teams on revenue management principles and rate strategies
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports (ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy, GOP)
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management
- Ensure accurate data entry and system integrity in PMS and RMS

Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or Finance
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in revenue management within a full-service or luxury hotel
- Prior experience in city or business hotel environments preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of PMS, RMS, and channel management systems
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Understanding of OTA platforms and e-commerce strategies
