Core Responsibilities

As a member of team the Engineers will be responsible for strategic planning,

implementation, and ongoing support of our multicontinent

cloud-based operational environment. In particular:

Develops strong technical knowledge of key applications, services and user

communities.

Lead strategic planning of our technical operational environment

Effective Incident Manager during outages who have the respect of management and

Engineer fix agents.

Partners with Engineering and Deployment peers to drive meticulous root cause

investigations and action items which improve system availability

and resiliency

Collaborates with development teams to understand application changes and identify

potential issues that may arise, build implementation and

back-out plans, and oversee the implementation during the scheduled maintenance

window.

Ability to work in a fast-paced 24x7 technical operations environment.

Expand the document development best practices

Assist with cloud-based infrastructure planning and implementation

Work with partners and technical architects on operational technical requirements

definition as needed

Be integral part of the team's agile practices, propose the delivery process optimizations

as needed

Assist in the ongoing system support and maintenance

Displays expertise in knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, and skills and

their application in the area of specified engineering

specialty.

Requirements

Self-starter

Passioned about learning new technologies and concepts, quick learner

7+ years of hands on troubleshooting experience of a complex large scale enterprise

application server environment

7+ years of technical experience supporting Operational Planning, Operations, Incident

Management, Problem Management, and Change

Management

Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, Incident Management

and Crisis Management
