As a Security Consultant, you will play a key client-facing role, engaging directly with stakeholders across German-speaking markets. You will provide advisory, implementation, and project delivery support to help clients strengthen their security posture, achieve compliance, and align with international standards. Your ability to communicate effectively in native German will be critical in building trust and delivering impact.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cybersecurity strategy, compliance, and governance.

· Lead and participate in client workshops, assessments, and stakeholder interviews (in German).

· Deliver security maturity assessments, gap analyses, and risk evaluations across multiple domains.

· Design and implement policies, frameworks, and control measures aligned to standards (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, BSI IT-Grundschutz, TISAX).

· Support audit preparation and certification projects for clients.

· Provide executive-level briefings and board presentations in German.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery of consulting engagements.

· Stay ahead of emerging threats, regulations, and industry best practices within the DACH region.

Requirements

· Fluent German speaking ability with excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Strong proficiency in English (working language in international projects).

· Proven experience in client-facing security consulting or advisory roles.

· Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline.

· In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, BSI IT-Grundschutz, TISAX).

· Hands-on experience with risk management, governance, and compliance projects.

· Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer).

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

· Willingness to travel within the DACH region for client engagements (as required).
