Job Role: Ignition Developer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy applications using Ignition SCADA (Vision & Perspective)

Build and configure HMI, SCADA, MES, and IIoT solutions

Develop SQL queries, reports, and dashboards for real-time data visualization

Integrate systems with industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)

Support system architecture, testing, FAT, SAT, and commissioning

Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and system reliability standards

Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and end-user training

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Ignition software development

Strong knowledge of Python scripting, SQL, and database integration

Experience with industrial automation systems (PLC/SCADA/HMI)

Good understanding of networking and industrial communication protocols

Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Preferred Certifications

Ignition Core Certification – required for developers

Ignition Gold Certification – preferred for senior/lead roles
