Job Description: .NET Developer (4+ Years Experience)

Position Overview Seeking an accomplished .NET Developer with 4+ years of professional experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications at client project sites. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Microsoft .NET stack, demonstrate solid software engineering principles, and comfortably interact with clients for gathering requirements and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure .NET-based web applications.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and core application logic.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality integration and delivery.
  • Conduct unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and participate in the complete SDLC.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
  • Work closely with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Participate in agile development processes, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
  • Strong experience with Entity Framework / EF Core, SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, views, functions)
  • Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles
  • Experience with RESTful services and backend API development
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3. Familiarity with modern JS frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms is desirable
  • Knowledge of Git, Agile methodology, and CI/CD workflows.

Additional Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with DevOps tools, deployment automation, and cloud services (Azure preferred)
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience using the .NET stack.
