Job Profile Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Legal to oversee all legal matters of the organization. The role involves managing corporate legal affairs, ensuring statutory compliance, minimizing legal risks, and advising management on all legal aspects related to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all corporate legal matters including contracts, agreements, and compliance in proper english drafting and court practices.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, MOUs, NDAs, vendor and dealer agreements
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, labor, industrial, and commercial laws
  • Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and government authorities when required
  • Coordinate with external lawyers, advocates, and legal consultants
  • Manage litigation matters and maintain legal documentation and records
  • Advise management on legal risks, dispute resolution, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee legal due diligence, notices, replies, and legal correspondence
  • Support management in policy formulation and corporate governance

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong expertise in corporate law, commercial law, labor laws, and compliance
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal documentation skills
  • Ability to handle litigation and regulatory matters independently
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or corporate sector preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer
  • Experience in handling end-to-end legal functions for an organization
  • Strong exposure to contracts, compliance, litigation, and corporate governance
  • Leadership experience in managing legal teams or coordinating with external counsel
