About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in Logistics, Global Trade, and Supply Chain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with software solutions used for customs checklist creation and filing, as well as a strong understanding of flat files uploaded to portals such as ICEGATE. This role is open to individuals from a Product or QA background who can 
lead testing efforts, ensure product quality, and act as a subject matter expert for developers
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead QA and testing efforts for global trade software solutions, including functional testing, UAT, and validation of customs checklists.
  • Identify gaps, errors, or inefficiencies in logistics and trade workflows and ensure solutions meet regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the development team, guiding them on logistics, global trade, and customs compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers to translate regulatory and operational requirements into functional product features.
  • Work with flat files used for submission on the ICEGATE portal or similar government trade portals.
  • Support product teams with domain knowledge to improve user experience, compliance, and overall product quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, global trade, or supply chain operations.
  • Prior experience with customs filing software, solutions, or workflow automation tools.
  • Strong QA/testing experience in software or SaaS environments, including test case creation and validation processes.
  • Knowledge of flat file formats used for ICEGATE or similar customs portals.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with developers and other teams.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with GST, import-export regulations, and compliance requirements in India.
  • Exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms in logistics or supply chain domain.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and quality assurance best practices.
