Job Description:

A Shift Engineer – Electrical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment across rotating shifts. This role is vital in maintaining uninterrupted operations in facilities such as manufacturing plants, data centers, hospitals, or industrial workshops. The engineer leads and supports maintenance teams, implements preventive strategies, and responds swiftly to emergencies.

  • Plan & Execute Maintenance

    • Perform both reactive and planned preventive maintenance on electrical systems—lighting, power distribution, UPS, control panels, emergency systems.

    • Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education

    • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, or a related field.

    • Equivalent credentials such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 (Electrical Installation/Maintenance) are acceptable.
