Senior Software Developer – ServiceNow

Desired Experience Range: 7-10 years

Location of Requirement: Bangalore

Must-Have

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering or development, with at least 5 years on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Portal technologies, including Employee Center Pro.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, REST, XML, HTML, and CSS.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL v3 or later and ITSM best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience leading small teams and delivering business outcomes.
  • Strong communication, writing, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe, ICP-ACC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow Portal experiences for end users, balancing performance, accessibility, and platform best practices.
  • Develop, test, and deploy innovative software solutions using ServiceNow technologies, including Employee Center Pro.
  • Collaborate with product teams, architects, and engineering leads to ensure cross-platform alignment and technical excellence.
  • Provide Tier 3 engineering support, ensuring platform health, stability, and supportability.
  • Act as a peer group leader, ensuring team delivery aligns with platform standards and processes.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and inquiries.
  • Drive UI/UX decisions that meet business requirements and accessibility standards.
