US Accounting Specialist- Night Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to manage and oversee client financial operations in the United States. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bookkeeping, and General Ledger management, Bank & Credit Card reconciliations, proficiency in journal entries to correct improper entries with strong proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. This role requires a professional who can ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial transactions while providing valuable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
  • Payroll processing within QBO
  • Oversee general ledger maintenance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy of financial statements.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with US accounting regulations and tax requirements. Income tax preparation of business returns.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Prepare business income tax returns

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in an accounting firm or corporate environment.
  • Experience in US income tax preparation for businesses and trusts.
  • Proven experience handling US accounts, AP/AR, bookkeeping, and compliance.
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks; experience with other accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and other financial tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹60,000.00 per month
