We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Support Worker to provide personal care and support for a family member at home.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with wheelchair movement — in/out of bed, toilets, and around the house
  • Assist with bathing, hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
  • Provide companionship and support during the day
  • Monitor basic wellness, such as reminding individuals about their medications, observing their general health, and monitoring blood pressure, etc.
  • Assist with light household support related to care
  • Provide massage and assist with therapy exercises as guided by physiotherapists or caregivers
  • Report any concerns or changes in the family member's condition

Requirements & Preferences:

  • Prior caregiving experience preferred
  • Students in biology, life sciences, or related fields encouraged to apply
  • Compassionate, patient, and physically capable of assisting with mobility
  • Willing to undergo police verification (assistance provided if needed)
  • Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
