We are seeking a
Senior DevOps Engineer
with
5+ years
of experience in modern DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and AWS cloud architecture. The ideal candidate should have a
product-based background
and be proficient in
Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
, and
AWS
services, with additional experience or certification as an
AWS Solutions Architect
.

You will be responsible for managing scalable infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and leading cloud-native transformation initiatives with a strong focus on
security, reliability, and performance
.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Design and implement highly available and scalable infrastructure on
    AWS
    based on architectural best practices.
  • Architect and manage Kubernetes-based deployments using
    Helm
    for microservices-based applications.
  • Develop and manage automated
    CI/CD pipelines
    using
    Jenkins
    ,
    GitHub Actions
    , or similar tools.
  • Manage
    Dockerized
    applications and ensure reliable orchestration through
    Kubernetes
    .
  • Implement and maintain
    NGINX
    as a reverse proxy/load balancer with high-availability setups.
  • Write efficient automation scripts using
    Shell
    or
    Python
    for operational efficiency.
  • Apply
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    principles using
    Terraform
    to manage cloud environments.
  • Monitor production environments using tools like
    Prometheus
    ,
    Grafana
    ,
    CloudWatch
    , and
    ELK
    stack.
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain
    Kafka
    clusters, focusing on high-throughput and reliability.
  • Provide guidance on
    AWS architecture
    , cost optimization, security, and disaster recovery.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
    :
  • 5+ years
    of hands-on DevOps experience in a product-based environment.
  • 4+ years
    of strong experience managing
    NGINX
    in production.
  • Expert-level proficiency in
    Linux
    system administration and
    Shell/Python scripting
    .
  • Solid production experience with
    Docker
    ,
    Kubernetes
    , and
    Helm
    .
  • Strong experience in
    AWS Cloud
    , with architectural knowledge across services like EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, EKS, Lambda, etc.
  • Experience as or working closely with an
    AWS Certified Solutions Architect
    .
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using
    Jenkins
    ,
    GitHub Actions
    , etc.
  • Deep knowledge of
    Terraform
    for cloud infrastructure automation.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Kafka
    for event-driven or streaming architectures (3+ years).
  • Exposure to
    monitoring/observability
    tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
  • Familiarity with
    incident response practices
    ,
    on-call rotations
    , and
    RCA documentation
    .
