Key Responsibilities:
Perform chemical analysis of waste samples to determine composition and contaminants.
Prepare reagents, solutions, and samples for testing.
Conduct tests using analytical instruments such as pH meters, spectrophotometers, and chromatography equipment.
Maintain accurate records of test results, observations, and data.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments as per SOPs.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Assist in preparing analytical reports and technical documentation.
Collaborate with senior chemists and lab personnel for quality control and research activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Basic knowledge of chemical analysis and laboratory procedures.
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and instruments (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and precision in data recording.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Prior internship or hands-on experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of environmental regulations and waste management practices is a plus.
