PHP Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate Developer with 6 months to 1 year of experience in building modern web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in JavaScript, , and front-end development, with the ability to collaborate with back-end teams and deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and related frameworks (such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Yii).
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Work with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, design queries, and optimize performance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications by identifying and fixing bugs.
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle – requirement gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade legacy code when required.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and integrate APIs, third-party tools, and services.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in PHP development and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Follow version control practices (Git, GitHub, or GitLab) for efficient collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in PHP development.
  • Strong knowledge of Core PHP and at least one framework (e.g., Laravel/CodeIgniter).
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
  • Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and MVC architecture.
  • Understanding of security practices in web applications (XSS, SQL injection, CSRF prevention).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with Composer, npm, or package managers.
  • Knowledge of Linux environment and basic server handling.
  • Exposure to cloud hosting platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
