The company is type certified by the National Testing House for its agriculture drone KrishiRaj 1.0, and offers a wide range of drone-based services and training across agriculture, surveying & mapping, delivery, and surveillance domains.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Embedded Engineer with hands-on experience in drone systems, flight controllers, and microcontroller-based development. The candidate will work on developing, integrating, and optimizing embedded firmware for drones and related hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for drone systems and components.
  • Work with various flight controllers (Pixhawk, APM, Betaflight, PX4, etc.) and integrate sensors, peripherals, and communication modules.
  • Implement and optimize control algorithms for drone stability and performance.
  • Diagnose and debug hardware/firmware issues at PCB and system level.
  • Support field testing, validations, and flight performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams for integrated drone development.
  • Prepare documentation, test reports, and technical notes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
  • Practical experience with drones, drone assembly, flight testing, and tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers (STM32, AVR, ESP32, etc.) and C/C++ programming.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
  • Experience with IMUs, GPS, ESCs, motors, and sensor integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug embedded hardware/software issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with PX4/ArduPilot firmware.
  • Knowledge of PID tuning and flight controller calibration.
  • Basic experience with PCB design software (KiCad, Altium, etc.).
  • Experience with RF, LoRa, Wi-Fi, or BLE modules.
