Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Geography to join our senior school faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over the subject, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering conceptual understanding through engaging classroom practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Geography lessons for Grades X, XI & XII as per CBSE curriculum.
• Integrate maps, models, digital tools, and real-world case studies to make learning interactive.
• Evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Prepare students for CBSE board exams with a focus on conceptual clarity and analytical skills.
• Participate in school events, assemblies, and academic meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and field-based learning.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and exploration.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Geography.
• B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (CBSE preferred).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in ENGLISH and using TECHNOLOGY for teaching and assessment.

Desirable:

• Experience in guiding students for Geography Olympiads or project-based learning.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies and NEP 2020 practices.
