Job Overview : We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented Assessors to assess and mark assignments for a UK Level 6 teaching qualification. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and consistency of the assessment process for in-service and aspiring teachers. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in educational assessment, enjoy reading, and have the ability to provide constructive feedback to learners.

Key Responsibilities : Assess and mark assignments in line with the UK Level 6 teaching qualification standards. Provide detailed, constructive feedback to learners, ensuring clarity and alignment with assessment criteria. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and fairness in the assessment process. Collaborate with a team of assessors and the academic team to ensure high standards of assessment and learner support. Review and update assessment practices regularly to maintain quality assurance. Participate in standardization meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.

Essential Qualifications : Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. 2+ Occupational experience in education and assessment. Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications : Teaching experience in an educational setting. Internal Quality Assurance ( IQA ) qualification Passion for reading and staying updated on educational trends and best practices.

Skills & Competencies : In-depth knowledge of assessment and quality assurance practices. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills for assessing and interpreting learner assignments. A passion for education and supporting learner development.
