Job Summary
ON-SITE Role
The Technical Training Specialist supports the facilitation, design, delivery, and implementation of technical and general training programs within the manufacturing domain. The role contributes to developing workforce capabilities through well-structured learning solutions, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and manufacturing excellence. The incumbent collaborates with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and educational organizations to plan and deliver impactful learning experiences that drive skill enhancement and continuous improvement across the manufacturing function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and prepares instructional materials such as participant guides, instructor guides, tests, presentations, and job aids in line with corporate learning standards.
- Assists in needs analysis, audience and task analysis, providing inputs into effective learning solutions and content modifications.
- Plans, coordinates, and administers instructor-led and e-learning programs, ensuring efficient scheduling, communication, facilitator coordination, and logistics management.
- Conducts research and evaluation of external training and development programs, including cost-benefit analysis for vendor-based or in-house solutions.
- Maintains accurate training records and reports, monitors individual and group progress, and uses feedback data to refine training programs.
- Implements evaluation plans, compiles reports, and recommends improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
- Supports technical skill development across manufacturing areas such as machining, robotics, and automation.
- Provides coaching and mentoring to employees, fostering skill growth, technical proficiency, and adherence to industrial safety practices.
- Acts as a subject matter resource for manufacturing technologies and contributes to the development of the Dexterity/Technical Training Center.
- Builds and maintains positive stakeholder relationships, addressing training-related queries courteously, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or production engineering (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent may be considered with extensive relevant experience.
- Train-the-Trainer Certification preferred.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in the automobile, heavy machinery, or manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, facilitating, and managing technical training programs.
- Proven track record of enhancing workforce capability through structured learning interventions.
Technical Skills and Expertise
- Machining Processes & Machine Shop Technologies.
- Operation, Programming, and Diagnosis of Fanuc/ABB/Kuka Robots.
- Knowledge of Jigs & Fixtures, PLC, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 Technologies and digital training tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Digital Learning Portals.
- Familiarity with quality and environmental standards: IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015.
- Experience in Dexterity/Technical Training Center Coaching and Industrial Safety Practices.
