Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-oriented Sales Assistant for our Bhopal showroom. The ideal candidate will be passionate about home furnishings, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven ability to drive sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will be the face of Damro, helping customers transform their living and working spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Sales:
• Greet customers warmly and provide a personalized shopping experience.
• Understand customer needs, preferences, and budget to recommend suitable furniture solutions from Damro's extensive range.
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, and quality to influence purchase decisions.
• Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding products, prices, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Showroom Management:
• Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Replenish stock on the floor and ensure all products are correctly tagged and displayed.
• Assist in setting up new displays and promotional setups as directed by the manager.
• Sales Process & Administration:
• Accurately process sales orders, invoices, and payments using the POS system.
• Follow up on leads, convert inquiries into sales, and maintain a customer database.
• Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any post-sale queries.
• Assist in preparing daily sales reports and maintaining records.
• Product Knowledge & Market Intelligence:
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Damro products, ongoing promotions, and financing options.
• Stay updated on interior design trends and competitor activities in the Bhopal market.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass). A diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Retail Management is a plus.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture, home décor, appliances, or lifestyle products. Freshers with exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi and English.
• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
• Customer-centric attitude with a friendly and patient demeanor.
• Basic computer literacy for handling billing and inventory software.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure.
• Presentable appearance and professional etiquette.
