Quality Trainee

JOB SUMMARY:
A Quality Trainee plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of the products. The primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the quality control process and procedures to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILTY:
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for furniture production, including inspections, testing, and documentation, to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and regulations.
- Quality Management System: Establish and maintain a quality management system (QMS) to track, analyze, and report on product quality, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in furniture production. Conduct supplier audits and establish quality standards for incoming materials.
- Product Testing and Evaluation: Plan, coordinate, and execute product testing and evaluation, which may include structural, safety, durability, and performance testing to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues, defects, or customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address these issues effectively.
- Data Analysis: Analyze quality data, including defect rates, customer feedback, and internal audit results, to provide insights and make data-driven decisions for improving product quality.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, test results, and compliance documentation to demonstrate adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing, design, and supply chain, to implement quality improvements and drive a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to quality control teams and other relevant personnel to ensure a high level of product knowledge and quality awareness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and codes relevant to the furniture industry, ensuring that products meet all legal and safety requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field is typically required.
- 0-1 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on furniture or related manufacturing process.
- In-depth understanding of furniture production processes, materials, and relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, statistical process control, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Pay: ₹15, ₹17,000.00 per month
