Job role: Technical Writer.

Location: Hyderabad.

Work Mode: Work from office (Monday to Friday), Day Shift.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Technical Writer who is eager to start their career in technical writing. The ideal candidate will have completed technical writing training and possess a Technical Writing Certification. You will work closely with our internal teams to create high-quality documentation for our software products, using tools like Docusaurus, Markdown, and Git. A basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC), and Agile methodologies is required, along with a commitment to following industry standards and regularly updating content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update technical documentation such as user guides, how-tos, and release notes.
• Write and format technical content using Markdown.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather inputs and organize content for documentation.
• Use Git for version control and managing documentation changes.
• Review and update documentation regularly to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to industry standards.
• Apply understanding of SDLC, DDLC, and Agile methodologies to ensure timely and well-structured documentation delivery.
• Focus on ensuring that the documentation aligns with industry standards and regularly update content to reflect any changes.

Required Skills:

• Trained in technical writing and familiar with industry best practices.
• Technical Writing Certification is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Markdown for writing and formatting documentation.
• Basic understanding of Git for version control.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC), and Agile Methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and gather information for documentation.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Style Guide for writing clarity and consistency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Technical Writing Certification from a recognized institution.
• Bachelors degree in English, Communications, or Engineering.
• Basic understanding of SDLC, DDLC, and Agile Methodologies.
• Passion for creating and improving technical documentation for software products.
