We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with a strong understanding of software quality assurance and a passion for delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, basic development or similar), and the ability to manage builds and releases.

This role bridges testing and development — ideal for someone who enjoys ensuring software quality while also understanding how code and deployment pipelines work.Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using tools like Jira or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Write and maintain basic automation scripts (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
  • Participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelines for test coverage.
  • Support the release management process, ensuring build stability before production.
  • Maintain and execute regression, functional, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps during build and deployment phases.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect management.
  • Experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
  • Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and API testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions).
  • Ability to perform sanity, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data validation.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or ClickUp
