Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Data Scientist role located in Pune. The Junior Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing data, developing data-driven models, and creating actionable insights to support business decision-making. Responsibilities include data preprocessing, building predictive and statistical models, performing data visualizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key insights. Knowledge about hardware optimisation and parallel processing is a must. Candidates will also work on ensuring data accuracy and presenting findings to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Data Science, including familiarity with machine learning algorithms and frameworks
  • Strong foundation in Statistics and Data Analytics for deriving meaningful insights
  • Hands-on experience in Data Analysis and Data Visualization techniques and tools
  • Understanding of GPU, CPU optimisation, parallel processing, CUDA frameworks is a must
  • Primarily knows how to work on linux flavours
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, R, or SQL
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data tools and platforms is a plus
