Sales & Customer Management
Supervise all sales staff on the floor (gold, diamond, silver counters, etc.).
- Ensure customers are greeted, assisted, and attended with the right sales pitch.
- Handle premium/VIP customers personally.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints or billing issues.
- Monitor conversion rate (walk-ins vs. buyers).
Push upselling (diamonds, high-margin jewellery, custom orders).
Team Leadership & Training
Assign daily targets to salesmen and track progress.
- Conduct morning huddles/briefings (offers, new arrivals, sales techniques).
- Provide on-floor coaching during live customer interactions.
- Identify weak sales staff and arrange training.
Motivate the team through recognition, incentives, or pep talks.
Sales Planning & Targets
Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for each counter/staff.
- Monitor individual vs. collective performance.
- Report daily sales numbers to the owner/management.
- Align sales strategy with showroom promotions (festivals, wedding season, Diwali, etc.).
Plan product placement for higher sales
Inventory & Product Knowledge
Ensure all sales staff know product details (weight, purity, pricing, making charges, certification).
- Coordinate with storekeeper for stock rotation
- Oversee jewellery display arrangements to maximize attraction.
Check that counters are clean, well-lit, and stock is complete.
Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with high-value clients.
- Keep records of repeat customers, anniversaries, birthdays, and follow up.
- Handle bulk/bridal/joint family orders.
- Call and invite old customers for offers/events.
Monitor CRM manager/social media manager leads → ensure walk-ins convert.
Offers & Promotions
Explain ongoing schemes clearly to customers .
- Coordinate with marketing team for social media posts, WhatsApp offers, festive ads.
- Train staff to communicate schemes without confusing or underselling.
Monitor competitor offers in nearby markets.
Reporting & Admin Work
Maintain daily sales report (DSR) counter-wise.
- Submit weekly performance summary to management.
- Analyze sales trends (which products are moving faster).
- Give feedback to purchase department (which designs to order more).
Track incentive distribution to staff (based on performance).
Discipline & Floor Management
Ensure punctuality and discipline of sales staff.
- ( incentive will be provided upon sale)
