About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Investment Operations team in Pune. The role focuses on reconciliations, post-settlement investigations, and coordination across stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions.

You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and resolving reconciliation breaks, ensuring all client and internal records are complete and accurate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, monitor, and analyze complex financial transactions within the investment operations function.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of cash, asset, and market value between internal systems and custodian bank records.
  • Identify, assign, and resolve reconciliation breaks by conducting detailed investigations.
  • Handle FX and post-settlement reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders to gather and disseminate data or resolve issues.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved items to senior team members and provide detailed follow-ups until closure.
  • Support management in achieving team objectives and process improvements.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and control across all reconciliation activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Capital Markets, Custody, Investment Banking Operations, or Reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience in FX and post-settlement investigations is essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and exposure to reconciliation tools/systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
