Position Overview

Axis Securities Limited is building a dynamic in-house video team to create engaging financial content for digital-first platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. We are looking for a Motion Graphic Editor who can bring ideas to life through creative motion design, animation, and video editing. The ideal candidate combines strong visual storytelling with an understanding of short-form digital content. Basic knowledge of DSLR cameras (Sony Alpha series preferred) will be an advantage during shoots and post-production workflows.

Role & responsibilities

  • Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and animate motion graphics for short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn), including typography, infographics, and data visualizations.
  • Video Editing: Edit and composite footage with sound design, color grading, and visual effects; ensure outputs are optimized for digital platforms.
  • Brand Assets: Develop reusable templates, transitions, and lower-thirds for consistent visual branding.

    Collaboration: Work with content and marketing teams to translate financial concepts into clear, visually engaging stories.
  • Production Support: Assist during shoots with filming, camera setup, framing, and lighting when needed.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator (Photoshop / FCPX a plus).
  • Strong grasp of motion design principles typography, color, layout, and pacing.
  • Experience in video editing and compositing for short-form digital content.
  • Familiarity with DSLR camera operation (Sony Alpha Mark III or similar).
  • Understanding of social media video formats, compression, and optimization.
  • Ability to animate charts, graphs, and data visualizations (finance/stock market familiarity a plus).
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in motion graphics, animation, or video editing.
  • Prior experience creating short-form content for digital-first platforms preferred.
