We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who brings strong expertise in quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in establishing robust QA practices, ensuring thorough test coverage, and maintaining the overall quality of applications. A basic understanding of Tricentis TOSCA and automation concepts will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across complex applications and integrated systems.
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve QA processes and best practices to ensure consistent quality outcomes.
- Design and maintain detailed test cases, test data, and execution plans based on project requirements.
- Conduct manual testing (functional, regression, integration, and system testing) and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Support automation efforts using Tricentis TOSCA for UI and API testing where applicable.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Participate in requirement analysis to assess testability, identify potential risks, and propose quality improvements.
- Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution through effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support quality metrics and reporting.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and help build overall team capability and testing maturity.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices (SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle).
- Hands-on experience in manual testing for web and API applications.
- Basic understanding of Tricentis TOSCA for test creation and execution.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and scripting fundamentals.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, qTest, Zephyr, etc.).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI) and basic SQL queries for data validation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of AWS services like S3, DDB, Cloudwatch logs
- Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries
- Good to have Dynatrace knowledge
