Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements, and preparing financial reports. The candidate will work on Tally ERP and SAP to manage daily accounting activities, including receivables, payables, and reconciliation tasks relevant to the automobile dealership business.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (Master's preferred).
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience in the automobile sector (mandatory).
  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP, SAP, GST, and TDS.
  • Excellent command over MS Excel and report preparation.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Manage and record all day-to-day accounting transactions.
  • Handle GST filing, TDS deduction, and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage inventory and costing records related to automobile parts and vehicles.
  • Assist in budgeting, audit preparation, and financial analysis.
  • Work efficiently on Tally ERP and SAP (Finance/Accounting module).
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
