Job Role & Responsibilites

Key Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing for web, mobile, or API applications.
  • Log, track, and verify defects using our bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure Devops).
  • Participate in regression, functional, usability, and exploratory testing.
  • Work collaboratively with developers to understand new features and verify fixes.
  • Support automation activities by learning and writing basic automated test scripts (optional based on project).
  • Document test results and provide feedback on product usability and quality.
  • Assist in maintaining test documentation and contributing to QA process improvements.

Required / Must Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of Testing strategies and Testing Types.
  • Familiarity with QA processes and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for product quality and learning new tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Good To Have Skills:

  • Experience with testing tools like Postman, Selenium, JMeter, or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of Bug Life cycle, UAT, Smoke and Unit testing.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
