AEM Lead

As a team lead (about 20% of the time):
  • Code reviews and merge/deploy
  • Discuss/assist other DEVs and figure out solutions where they are stuck and communicate the same with me
  • Good communication to articulate the problem/solution at hand
  • Respond to any production support requests in the offshore/APAC hours
  As an individual contributor (about 80% of the time):
  • AEM component and page component development
  • Customized AEM dialog creation (needs good JS/JQUERY/Coral UI and some CSS skills)
  • AEM Workflows (custom user interaction dialogs and conditional flow)
  • Issue identification/resolution in On-Prem AEM implementations
  • Knowledge of the dispatcher and the webserver (preferably IIS but even Apache is good)
  • Basic J2EE concepts of servlet/filters/services etc.
  • Good understanding of overall architecture and every layer of the AEM architecture
  • User groups and permissions handling in AEM
  • ACS commons basic knowledge
