Role: Snowflake developer with cortex experience

Location: Remote

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or Snowflake Developer.
  • Demonstrable experience with Snowflake Cortex, including practical application of its AI/ML functions (e.g., COMPLETION, EMBED_TEXT, TRANSLATE, SUMMARIZE_TEXT, SENTIMENT).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL development, optimization, and query tuning on Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ELT/ETL principles.
  • Experience with other Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures, and Time Travel.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating them with Snowflake.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
