Key Responsibilities :

Prepare detailed civil drawings including:

  • Plan & profile views
  • Bore profiles (HDD) with alignment, depth, and clearances
  • Trench and duct bank cross-sections
  • Manhole/handhole/chamber construction drawings
  • As-built drawings for project handover and records
  • Develop and maintain accurate Basemaps consolidating survey data, GIS inputs, and existing utility information.
  • Ensure Basemap accuracy by verifying road ROW (Right of Way), parcel boundaries, utility layers, and aerial/satellite imagery.
  • Draft permit drawings for submission to municipalities, DOTs, and other authorities, ensuring compliance with all jurisdictional standards
  • Incorporate notes, legends, and standard details required for permit approval packages.
  • Create traffic control and construction phasing drawings as part of the permitting process.
  • Review and update permit revisions as per client or authority feedback.
  • Analyze and interpret utility plans (storm, sewage, water, gas, electric) and reflect them clearly in basemaps/permit drawings. Coordinate with permit teams, surveyors, and municipalities to resolve design conflicts
  • Maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and documentation discipline.

Telecom & Project Support :

  • Support FTTH/FTTB deployments with accurate civil designs.
  • Work closely with surveyors, project managers, and field teams to validate design feasibility. Incorporate as-built data into utility mapping for long-term network management.
  • Provide civil engineering input during quality checks, construction monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Candidate should know how to make and read drawings such as manhole, handhole, sewage and gas line type drawings.
