Dispatcher - RMC Plant

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily dispatches as per customer orders and batching capacity.
• Coordinate with the batching plant, quality control, and maintenance teams for smooth delivery operations.
• Allocate transit mixers, pumps, and other vehicles based on order priorities and availability.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of concrete to avoid delays at site.
• Maintain dispatch records such as challans, delivery slips, and trip sheets.
• Communicate effectively with drivers regarding route, timing, and load details.
• Monitor vehicle movement through GPS and ensure efficient route utilization.
• Update customers on delivery status and manage last-minute order changes.
• Coordinate with accounts for billing-related documents and proof of delivery.
• Maintain daily reports on dispatch quantity, rejected loads, idle time, etc.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies during dispatch operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong planning and multitasking ability.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP/Dispatch Software).
• Knowledge of local routes and RMC logistics.
• Problem-solving and time management skills.
