We are seeking a
Site Reliability Engineer
to support and enhance Snowflake infrastructure within our systems.

You will be responsible for maintaining the high availability and performance of data platforms while driving automation and observability practices. This role requires extensive experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, and Snowflake environments. Join us to contribute your expertise in site reliability and cloud technologies to ensure robust and scalable solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of Snowflake schemas, roles, and workflows
  • Build monitoring and alerting solutions to track Snowflake performance using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Implement observability best practices for Snowflake and data pipelines ensuring comprehensive visibility into ETL jobs and query workloads
  • Drive automation for infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and incident response to improve operational efficiency
  • Monitor uptime and service level agreements for Snowflake and related systems
  • Conduct post-incident retrospectives and lead performance tuning initiatives
  • Support and administer Kubernetes clusters to ensure stability and scalability
  • Manage Linux and Windows system administration tasks
  • Provide application support and incident recovery expertise
  • Write and maintain shell and Perl scripts to automate routine tasks
  • Utilize Git and Jenkins for version control and continuous integration processes

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of 5 to 10 years in site reliability engineering roles
  • Minimum of 3 years working with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, ALB, RDS, and CloudWatch Insights
  • Strong background in Kubernetes administration
  • Proficiency in Linux systems, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linu,x including command line usage
  • Experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL and query tools
  • Skills in shell and Perl scripting languages
  • Knowledge of Git and Jenkins for development workflows
  • Prior experience in application support and incident recovery
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework is advantageous
