Role & responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

• Oversee and execute the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closure

of books, including expense provisioning, GL scrutiny, and reconciliations.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of books of accounts in strict alignment with

company policies and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

• Perform Variance Analysis and detailed GL scrutiny to identify trends and anomalies.

• Prepare requisite financial reports for the monthly Business Review meetings.

• Conduct Inventory Valuation and continuous monitoring for the trading business

segment.

• Monitor expenses against approved Budget and Forecasts, providing detailed

explanations for deviations.

• Support the preparation and consolidation of the annual Budget and Forecast

submission.

Audit & Tax Compliance:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Statutory and Internal Auditor, ensuring

timely completion of both Statutory and Internal Audits.

• Manage all accounting, reconciliation for TDS and GST.

• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable tax laws, supporting any related

assessments and official audits.

• Half yearly MSME returns

• Manage and ensure compliance for all related party and intra-company transactions.

• Submission of Monthly / Quarterly details to Bank

Systems, Automation & Governance:

• Actively support the SAP S4 HANA implementation, specifically for finance modules.

• Drive process automation in Accounts Payable and General Accounting to

significantly enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline all core finance

operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to financial policies,

internal controls, and the established Delegation of Authority (DOA) matrix.
