We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join an on-site engineering team in Goregaon, Mumbai. This role is ideal for hands-on engineers who design, build, and operate scalable, production-grade data pipelines and analytical platforms that serve machine learning, BI, and real-time streaming use cases.Role & Responsibilities:Translate functional and non-functional requirements into effective designs and development specifications.Responsible for transforming Data into - > Information -> Knowledge - > Business DecisionsDelivers data warehouse, data mart and dimensional models for Analytics Centre of Excellence.Responsible for streamlining dataflow pipelines across various programs and products.Responsible for identifying trends and patterns in data leading to increased effectiveness of digital programs.Responsible for Data related documentation and visual communications.Design, develop, and support Snowflake services and warehouse.Document data processes, pipelines, and data model designs.Support and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.*Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge):*4–6 years of experience in data engineering or related field.Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, SnowSight, and Snowpipes.Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling (e.g., using Kimball methodology).Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory or similar.Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Exposure to data lake storage and medallion architecture principles (bronze, silver, gold layers).Basic understanding of data quality, governance, and version control.*Personal Characteristics and Attributes:*Solid English written and verbal communication skills.Able to engage other leaders to understand strategy, articulate options, evaluate trade-offs and influence key decisions.Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.Inquisitive nature & self-starter who can implement with minimal guidance.Ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong desire in learning new technologies and methodologies.*Mandatory skills :* SQLSnowflake, Snowflake SQL, SnowSight, Snowpipes, Data warehousing, Dimensional modeling, Kimball methodology, ETL/ELT, Azure Data Factory, Cloud data platforms, Data lake storage, Medallion architecture.Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹1,200, ₹1,400,000.00 per yearWork Location: In personSpeak with the employer
